The aim of physical therapist is to improve quality of life, mobility and to prevent further injury or disability. Most people experience physical therapy or rehabilitation after sports injury or accident. Most of the people are unaware that physical therapy can be a permanent way to treat pain, dysfunction or discomforts that affect your lifestyle and daily living.
Different people suffering from neck pain, back pain, joint pain, and decreased mobility often use different medications or surgeries as a treatment to treat their pain and dysfunction. However, these drugs and medications treat only symptoms without addressing the exact cause and surgery has various risks with no guarantee of resolving or eliminating the exact underlying issues.

How physical therapy and rehabilitation can help?

Traditional medical practice often treats the site of pain with the aim to alleviate complaint of patient. However, various structures of human body are inter-connected with muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia. All these structures work together to produce movement and provide stability for daily life activities. Treating only the site of pain without the associated structures fails to restore pain free and healthy function. Most of times pain arising in one site has its source in a different location like pain in your back can be due to tightness of muscles in legs or headaches may be due to dysfunction of neck. Physical therapy specialists fully understands that how structures of your body work together. They identify the underlying source of pain and provide treatment to correct the root cause of pain through therapeutic methods and dynamic exercises.
